Stephenson Harwood enters Guangzhou alliance

Having closed its Guangzhou office three months ago, UK-based Stephenson Harwood has set up an alliance relationship with its former partner in China, Wei Tu.

The office will be headed by Xianming Lu who used to head the Stephenson Harwood office and was a partner there. The two firms will be able to use new rules which allow them to work together on deals based in China - but which do not permit profits-sharing or working under the same brand. Source: Legal Business
