Towry completes Ashcourt Rowan acquisition with hire of its GC

Wealth manager Towry has named Ashcourt Rowan's Rehana Hasan its general counsel, after the company acquired rival Ashcourt in May.

Ms Hasan will manage the legal requirements of the combined business Kheng Guan Toh

Ms Hasan had been group legal adviser at Ashcourt since September 2012, but will now manage the legal requirements of the combined business. She was formerly legal adviser at financial company WorldSpreads Group. She was also a lawyer at Duke Street, having trained at legacy Manches from 2005 to 2007. She replaces Towry’s former GC Thomas Donlon, who left for wealth management company London & Capital in April. Source: The Lawyer
