UAE sees surge in demand for lawyers

The economic upturn has increased demand for lawyers in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) but salaries are staying fairly flat.

These are the conclusions of Essam Al Tamimi of lawyers Al Tamimi & Company, as discussed in The National. He said: 'The trend has shifted a lot in the past 18 months, and particularly since the start of this year,” he said. “There’s much more hiring from both local and international firms. We’re all hiring and looking for talent.' Demand  has increased for in house lawyers as well, he says.
