Weil Gotshal downsizes New York office space

The firm has just signed a lease for 20 per cent less space in the GM building with plans afoot to use space more efficiently.

The firm has been in the building since it was built in 1968 and has just renewed the lease for a further 15 years. However, it is returning three floors to the landlord and retaining 400,000 square feet for its 500 lawyer office. It is also planning to extensively renovate the office, making it 'more efficient and in line with how we work today.' Source: Wall Street Journal
