Mohammed bin Issa al Jaber began legal proceedings against the firm in September, seeking the documents. The businessman alleged that the documents would show that Barclays had paid money for a Saudi business licence. He claims that his company, MBI International, lost out as a result of a complicated set of transactions related to the bank.
