Christopher Boresjo and Mark Moody will join the firm from Simmons & Simmons, where Mr Boresjo led its asset finance practice. Both lawyers focus on the aircraft finance arena and represent several of the largest aircraft operating lessors in the world, handling individual and portfolio acquisitions and sales for them as well as providing advice on leasing and other financings.
‘We remain focused on expanding our international finance capabilities and our presence in key financial markets such as London,’ said Tom Fitzgerald, Winston’s firm-wide managing partner. ‘The addition of Chris and Mark will reinforce our commitment to these goals.’
The firm’s London-based finance practice has been bolstered significantly in the last year through a string of lateral acquisitions, including Paul Amiss, Rebecca Finn, and Jason Parker in November last year and James Simpson and a team of lawyers last March.
