AAAS announces new members

New inductees to the American Academy of Arts and Sciences (AAAS) were announced this week with six leading minds in the theory and practice of law making the list.

AAAS announced yesterday that six leading minds in the theory and practice of law made the list. Other new members include author Annie Proulx and actor Al Pacino Patryk Kosmider

Human rights lawyers Vicki C. Jackson of Harvard University, David J. Luban of Georgetown University, and Bryan A. Stevenson of NYU Law School all became members of the AAAS under the law section. Antitrust expert George L. Priest of Yale Law School and Texas District Court judge Lee H. Rosenthal were also inducted into the same category. Other new members include author Annie Proulx, actor Al Pacino, and cell biologist David Spector.
