LexisNexis in marketing joint venture

Some leading legal marketing brands are being combined in the same unit, as parts of the LexisNexis and Internet Brands join forces.

In a joint announcement, LexisNexis® Legal & Professional, part of Reed Elsevier, and Internet Brands®, have made public plans to bring together 'the strengths of the LexisNexis® Martindale-Hubbell® internet marketing solutions business, including the leading Lawyers.com consumer website, with Internet Brands’ leading online marketing services for lawyers through its Nolo legal division'.

Headquartered in El Segundo, California, Internet Brands is a new media company that operates online media, community, and e-commerce websites in vertical markets. It 'also develops and licenses Internet software, social media applications, and professional online marketing solutions'.
