Singapore's PK Wong joins forces with litigation boutique

Former EY Singapore firm merges with Nair & Co to form PK Wong & Nair

Singapore’s PK Wong & Associates, a former member firm of EY’s global network, has merged with disputes boutique Nair & Co. The new firm will be known as PK Wong & Nair.

Nair & Co was set up in October 2017 by highly rated litigation specialist Suresh Nair, who was previously who was previously a partner at Advocatus Law,and director and head of litigation department at Straits Law Practice.

On its formation, the firm focused on disputes and insolvency, but then added a shipping practice in 2018.

PK Wong's practice areas cover conveyancing and property law, corporate and commercial, estate planning and trusts, intellectual property and litigation and arbitration.

The firm, led by Mark Wong, joined the EY network in 2014. It then became an independent firm in July 2018, at a time when EY selected Atlas Asia Law Corporation as its Singapore member firm.

PK Wong & Nair will be led jointly by Nair and Wong, who will take the positions of co-managing directors.

Wong said: “The addition of the disputes team from Nair & Co will complement PK Wong & Associates’ existing disputes capabilities and also provide Nair & Co's clients with one stop corporate and commercial capability.”
