Women earn 28 per cent less than men

Female lawyers are continuing to earn less than their male colleagues and are not promoted at the same rate as men.

The figures have come from the Monster Wage Index Report which shows that the legal market revealed one of the highest gender gaps. Commenting on the figures, Deborah Froling of Arent Fox said that she was not surprised by the figures. She added that women did not get the same bonuses or the same salaries as they progressed in their jobs, nor were they promoted at the same rate as men. Source:InsideCounsel
