Barclays increases in-house diversity

Barclays is launching an apprenticeship programme for legal with the express aim of attracting more diversity.

The new positions are part of a wave of legal services apprenticeships with the government, seeking to provide more “school leaver” roles within a number of groups, including the legal profession. Barclays has partnered with diversity network Aspiring Solicitors to offer 50 one-week placements to law school graduates.
