Hackers are winning the war on cyber-security and are more technologically advanced than those trying to stop them, according to research from 500 US business executives, law enforcement services and government agencies. Companies reported around 135 security intrusions on average per company. The top five cyberattack methods in the survey were malware, phishing, network interruption, spyware and denial-of-service attacks. Furthermore, 28 per cent of respondents said that the attackers were insiders, contractors, former employees or service providers.
