Venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz has recruited former Facebook general counsel Ted Ullyot to build a new policy and regulatory affairs group. The company, which has invested in technology companies such as Facebook and BuzzFeed, has set up the unit to help start-ups in heavily regulated industries. 'The idea is to make sure the lines of communication are open,' whether dealing with lawmakers in Sacramento, Brussels or Washington.' Source: Bloomberg
