Mr Chen had worked briefly for Slaughter and May in London and for a legacy firm of Herbert Smith in Hong Kong. His firm now has seven partners and a total of more than 40 lawyers. It extends to a branch office in Beijing and a liaison office in Hong Kong. A particular strength is its advice work to private Chinese companies for IPOs and listings both at home and abroad.
