Luxury entrepreneurs join legal elite in London

General counsel from the world's top luxury players are convening in London to discuss trade, M&A and sustainability with business leaders in London on 16 May at the annual Luxury Law fest.

A group of global luxury entrepreneurs will join the luxury legal elite at this year's London Luxury Law Summit, the annual symposium discussing the hot topics for companies selling to the world's wealthiest consumers.  Discussions ranging from Brexit and trade to sustainability in a fast-changing geopolitical landscape to sustainability, data and reputational damage will be on the agenda as will insights from some of the top general counsel at a range of companies from LVMH to Marc Jacobs, Alibaba and Godiva. From fashion to hotels, travel and food, the fast-changing luxury scene, CEOs, GCs and C-suite executives will share their experiences and plans going forward. Charlotte Olympia President Bonnie Takhar and British Fashion Council CEO Caroline Rush will join entrepreneurs such as Simon SpurrTodd Snyder, Sophie HabsburgOrsola de Castro, Mark Tallowin,  Mesh Chhibber, Jeremy & Cath Brown and Kitty Bruce-Gardyne to talk about fashion. Marc Jacobs GC Kelly Koyama-Garcia will discuss the new sustainability model whilst Valeriano Antonioli, CEO of the Ferragamo family's hotel chain, the Lungarno Collection, will discuss how to expand an established brand. Luxury companies are increasingly involved in M&A activities with Julie Bercovy and Caroline Bergeron of LVMH sharing insights.
