Alejandro Penados is a Guatemalan lawyer with more than eighteen years of experience in civil, commercial, corporate and white-collar litigation. A partner at Comte & Font-Legalsa, he has represented clients across diverse and highly regulated industries, handling multifaceted disputes that combine administrative, corporate, commercial, criminal and arbitral components. His practice focuses on high-complexity, strategic conflicts, including shareholder disputes, commercial distribution, unfair competition, succession and regulatory controversies involving the State. He has held notable professional roles such as Printing Magistrate, member of the Electoral Tribunal and member of the Honor Tribunal of the Guatemalan Bar Association. He previously served as a professor of General Theory of Procedure at Universidad San Pablo de Guatemala and has been proposed as Assistant Professor of Civil Procedural Law at Universidad Rafael Landívar. He holds an LLM from Instituto de Empresa in Madrid and is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Tax and Commercial Law.
