Marisol Fión is a Guatemalan attorney and notary with over twenty-five years of experience in civil, commercial, and constitutional dispute resolution. A partner at Comte & Font – Legalsa, she previously served as counsel before the Ecclesiastical Tribunal of Guatemala and is currently a full professor of Civil and Commercial Procedural Law at Universidad Rafael Landívar.

Since 2010, she has been a member of the board of one of the region’s largest sugar mills, providing corporate and regulatory legal counsel. She was appointed as an arbitrator of CRECIG in 2018 and is a member of the Guatemalan Arbitration Association (since 2023), CIArb (since 2024), and the Board of Directors of the Spanish and Ibero-American Arbitration Club, Guatemala Chapter (since 2025).

She holds an LLM in International Arbitration from Universidad Francisco Marroquín, an LLM in Civil and Commercial Procedure from Universidad Mariano Gálvez, and a Law Degree, Cum Laude, from Universidad Rafael Landívar, as well as a postgraduate program in Legal and Forensic Psychology from Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
