Alexander Pakharenko is an Attorney-at-Law, registered Ukrainian Patent and Trademark Attorney and a Partner with Pakharenko & Partners in Kyiv, a Director of the Ukraine Alliance Against Counterfeiting and Piracy (UAACP). His practice in the field of IP encompasses consulting on all aspects of IPR protection, licensing and enforcement, anti-counterfeiting and anti-piracy measures and developing anti-counterfeiting and anti-piracy strategies.
Alexander has been actively involved in conducting training seminars for Customs and police on behalf of rights holders, takes part in organisation of awareness-raising activities in the field of anti-counterfeiting. He also regularly participates in various working groups on improving the legal framework for fighting counterfeits in Ukraine.
