Bettina Knoetzl is a founding partner at KNOETZL, a leading mid-size law firm, based in Austria, specialised in resolving complex “bet the company” disputes. She has nearly 30 years of experience in high-profile international and Austrian matters, specialising in high-stakes international and commercial disputes involving investor protection, liability claims, corporate issues, and fraud and asset recovery. Bettina is a leading trial lawyer and has extensive experience as counsel and as arbitrator under the rules of major arbitral institutions. Beginning in 2000, Bettina is also a trained mediator, highly active in the field of alternative dispute resolution (ADR), primarily sitting or counselling in business mediation. She has been a registered mediator since the implementation of the Austrian Mediation Act in 2004 and is an active and sought-after mediator and co-mediator. Over the course of her career, she has helped resolve some of the largest and most complex international and national high-stake disputes. Over the past 30 years she has settled hundreds of highly disputed matters, amounting to multiple billions of Euros.
