Campbell Herbert is a senior associate in McDermott Will & Schulte’s International Arbitration Group based in London, where he has a particular focus on cryptocurrency and FinTech disputes. His practice covers investment treaty and commercial arbitration, as well as disputes before national courts in England and the United States. His representations include sovereign states, multi-national companies, and ultra-high net worth individuals. Campbell is admitted to practice in England & Wales (solicitor advocate (civil)), New York, New Zealand, New South Wales, and the Cayman Islands. He holds an LLB (Hons (First Class)) and B Com (Economics) from Victoria University of Wellington, and an LLM (Hons (First Class)) in international arbitration from the University of Auckland. He is a PhD candidate in investment treaty arbitration at the Grotius Centre at Leiden University and a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. He serves on the Editorial Board of the International Arbitration Law Review.
