Dane brings a distinctive blend of academic excellence and cross-border legal expertise to the firm’s corporate and commercial practice. He holds a BA in Economics from Cornell University, an LLB with First Class Honours from University College London, and an MSc in Corporate Finance and Tax Law from the University of Oxford (jointly awarded by the Law Faculty and Saïd Business School). Called to the English Bar at Lincoln’s Inn in 2013 and to the Jamaican Bar in 2014 (Norman Manley Law School), Dane advises on complex corporate transactions across multiple jurisdictions. His experience spans corporate financings — including IPOs and APOs — public and private takeovers, and sophisticated restructurings such as debt-equity swaps and schemes of arrangement. Clients value his ability to merge technical legal precision with commercial pragmatism to deliver actionable, value-driven outcomes. In 2022 Dane became a Fellow of INSOL International.
