Divyam is a dual-qualified Indian Advocate and English Solicitor Advocate, with Higher Rights of Audience (Civil Law). He specialises in international commercial arbitration and has extensive experience advising and representing corporate and financial institutions in complex disputes arising out of commercial contracts. He has significant experience in handling complex, high-value, and large-scale contentious mandates, with a wide-ranging practice encompassing both international arbitration and commercial litigation. Divyam has extensive experience in both ad hoc and institutional arbitrations. He represents clients in national and international commercial arbitrations across a broad range of sectors, including construction and engineering, energy, real estate and infrastructure, financial services, securities, retail and services, media and telecommunications, and knowledge-based industries. He is a registered foreign lawyer with the Singapore International Commercial Court (SICC) and the Dubai International Financial Centre Courts (DIFC Courts). Divyam is a qualified Advocate-on-Record before the Supreme Court of India and regularly represents clients in high-profile litigation and matters involving important and complex questions of law before the Supreme Court. Several of these matters have culminated in reported judgments and decisions of significance. He also regularly represents clients before the High Courts of various states, the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT), the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCDRC), and other courts and tribunals. In addition to his arbitration and litigation practice, Divyam has extensive experience advising and representing clients in relation to shareholder and joint venture disputes, creditor disputes, insolvency and bankruptcy matters, contractual breaches, challenges to government policies, mergers and acquisitions, bid and tender challenges, employment disputes, and other complex commercial matters.
