Duarte Ornelas Monteiro is an associate partner and head of the Private Clients team at RFF Lawyers, which he joined in 2019. He has specialised in private client law for 15 years. He’s a senior lawyer and very experienced in working with high-net-worth individuals (both in immigration and tax) and has assisted clients in their relocation process to Portugal from various jurisdictions (EUA, UK, Brazil, Russia, China, Middle East, among others). The combination of knowledge in both areas has proven to be an innovative and very successful approach. Duarte is also the author or co-author of numerous peer-reviewed articles regarding taxation and immigration in Portugal.
