Gustavo is a lawyer with more than 16 years of experience in intellectual property law, both in the administration of high-volume portfolios at a regional level, as well as in the fight against piracy. He is a member of the anti-counterfeiting committees of ASIPI (the Inter-American Association of Intellectual Property) and ECTA (the European Communities Trademark Association), member of the Enforcement Committee of INTA (the International Trademark Association), and ambassador for the Intellectual Property Office (IPO). He is an active member in the fight against counterfeiting and represents important brands in Guatemala, as well as global brands, directing the Anti-Counterfeiting department at Ideas IPS, which has been recognized by clients for effectiveness in their actions and the recovery of goods.
