Jana is the Head of Schjødt’s Tax & Structure group. Her principal areas of work are tax, dispute resolution and private M&A. She has extensive experience advising on domestic and international taxation, representing clients in administrative proceedings and disputes before the ordinary courts, and leading complex structuring and reorganisation projects, both domestically and cross border, including multinational carve-outs coordinating local counsel across multiple jurisdictions. A significant part of her practice involves advising Norwegian and international companies, high-net-worth individuals and family offices on tax, corporate and accounting matters.
Jana holds a master’s degree in law from the Faculty of Law at the University of Bergen, specialising in tax and corporate law. She also holds a master’s degree in auditing and accounting from the Norwegian School of Economics.
