Johannes Grove Nielsen is a partner at Bech-Bruun and head of the firm’s dispute resolution department. With many years’ experience he is considered one of the leading Danish disputes lawyers, both nationally and internationally. Johannes is known for his solution-oriented approach and deep understanding of the client’s requirements. He is an experienced litigator — particularly in the areas of professional liability, post-mergers and acquisition (M&A) disputes and corporate and shareholder disputes — and he currently serves on the Board of the Danish Institute of Arbitration. He also has a background in maritime law. Johannes chaired the IBA’s Maritime & Transport Law Committee from 2021–2022 and is currently serving on the Nomination Committee of the Comité Maritime International (CMI).
