Juan Manuel Lobo

Juan Manuel Lobo, along with his brother Rafael Lobo, is the visionary co-founder of Grupo Alinea, embodying the essence of entrepreneurial spirit and social responsibility in the field of mediation and conflict resolution. With over two decades of experience, their firm has been dedicated to creating collaborative synergies that enhance and optimize outcomes for clients in both the public and private sectors. Their commitment to delivering quality services that generate social and economic value has had a significant positive impact on many organizations. Juan Manuel holds a degree in Oceanology from the Universidad Autónoma de Baja California. He is known for his creativity and innovation, consistently focused on developing unique tools aimed at serving others. His motto, “Always prepared and ready to serve,” fuels his ongoing quest to understand the real needs of people, enabling him to create and implement unique models that foster positive change within mediation practice in Mexico. Among his notable contributions are the Investment Protection System, the Global Bond model (which shifted the focus directly to the beneficiary rather than the principal, revolutionizing the bonding system in Mexico and becoming the most widely used model in the market today), the Vivo Seguro Program (which drastically reduced accidents from 23 to zero within just 365 days, saving numerous lives and limbs for Comisión Federal de Electricidad and now implemented nationwide), the Collaborative Negotiation Model (a unique framework for collaborative negotiations between clients and suppliers that significantly enhances profitability for all parties involved), and Mediation Initiatives, where Lobo developed a mediation model that successfully resolved disputes between the financial sector and construction and supply firms. The success of this model led to its implementation in courts, educational institutions, and local communities. Juan Manuel Lobo Niembro and Rafael Lobo continue to innovate and inspire within the legal mediation landscape.
