Junya Naito is the Managing Partner of Momo-o, Matsuo & Namba. His practice focuses on international arbitration, litigation and M&A/corporate matters. He routinely acts as party counsel and arbitrator/mediation in proceedings at major arbitral institutions such as ICC, JCAA, SIAC, VIAC and ICDR. Mr. Naito served as Chair of the Committee Regarding International Arbitration of the Dai-Ichi Tokyo Bar Association. He is also a member of the Working Group Regarding International Commercial and Investment Arbitration ADR of the Japan Federation of Bar Associations. He graduated from the University of Tokyo, LLB (1989) and Columbia Law School LLM (1995, Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar), and served as Professor (Civil Advocacy) at the Legal Research and Training Institute of the Supreme Court of Japan and the examiner (Commercial Law) of the National Bar Exam of Japan.
