Kinga Hetényi is a partner at Schoenherr Hungary specialising in Corporate M&A. As a Hungarian attorney with 25 years of experience, she has led numerous private M&A transactions on both the seller’s and buyer’s side, representing industrial and financial investors alike. She is experienced in share transactions, asset deals, and corporate restructurings, with additional expertise in employment law and corporate litigation. After graduating from Eötvös Loránd University (Budapest) in 1995, Kinga spent nine years in the corporate department of a leading international law firm’s Budapest office, including a one-year secondment to its Frankfurt office. She then served as general counsel of the Hungarian subsidiary of a New York Stock Exchange-listed multinational fast-moving consumer goods company. In 2005, she joined a Hungarian law firm to head its Corporate M&A Practice Group and continued in this role when that firm joined Schoenherr and served as managing partner of Schoenherr Hungary between 2010 and 2023.
