Lois Chisompola Sikwenda is the Managing Partner of Valerie and Partners and brings to her legal practice a specialised focus on ADR in commercial and civil matters. Drawing from her experience on the bench, Lois excels as both a representative of clients and as a third-party neutral, facilitating effective and mutually satisfactory agreements in negotiation, mediation, and neutral evaluation. She is committed to resolving disputes in the most cost-effective, confidential and efficient manner possible, while maintaining a cordial atmosphere for all parties involved. Lois is a seasoned trainer in mediation and negotiation at the ADR Centre and Edwards Mediation Academy. She is a 2024 Weinstein JAMS Fellow, a select group of ADR practitioners dedicated to advancing access to justice through ADR. Lois holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Zambia, a Master of Laws (LLM) in Dispute Resolution from the University of Cape Town, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Legislative Drafting. She has attained certification in mediation from the ADR Centre (Italy), the Edwards Mediation Academy (United States), and the Straus Institute of Dispute Resolution (Pepperdine University, United States).
