Marcelo is admitted to the Portuguese Bar (Ordem dos Advogados) and focuses on European, German and Portuguese competition law and foreign direct investment. Based at BLOMSTEIN’s Lisbon office, he advises clients in proceedings before the European Commission, the German Federal Cartel Office, Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy and other relevant authorities in international investigations and merger transactions, with a specific focus on PE-backed industrial acquisitions.
