Mariam Al-Mashehadani is an Associate in Charles Russell Speechlys’ Litigation & Dispute Resolution Team and is based in Dubai. Mariam’s experience includes multi-million-dollar arbitration disputes, as well as a broad range of litigation matters involving applications related to strike out, limitation, enforceability of governing law clauses, contested jurisdiction with Joint Judicial Committee proceedings, pre-action disclosure, Norwich Pharmacal Orders and Banker’s Trust Orders. Prior to her current role, Mariam was a senior judicial assistant to the Senior Judges and the Court of Appeal of the DIFC Courts, where she played an integral role drafting judgments and providing legal assistance to the DIFC Judges. Mariam previously worked in London for a Tier 1 boutique commercial law firm where she was involved in a number high-profile and complex matters, including 1MDB and the SFO investigation into a Barclays’ senior executive. Mariam is fluent in English and Arabic (native and legal). Mariam is admitted to practice in England and Wales.
