Michael Wagner is a Partner in Seyfarth’s Construction Practice Group with experience on international construction projects and disputes, including in Japan, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Guam. His practice spans all aspects of construction transactional work and dispute resolution, including drafting and negotiating construction and design contracts and litigating complex construction and design matters in state, federal, and international forums.
Michael brings a practical, industry-informed perspective to construction law. Before becoming an attorney, he worked for a general contractor and an electrical subcontractor, gaining hands-on experience in preconstruction, project and risk management, and delivery of commercial and public infrastructure projects, including heavy civil, highways, and utilities.
He is recognized by Best Lawyers in America (Woodward/White Inc.) for Construction Litigation (2023–2024, 2026) and Construction Law (2024–2026) and by The Legal 500 (Legalese Ltd.) as a “Next Generation Partner” Attorney (2025) and a “Rising Star” for Construction (2022–2024).
