Our Luxury Law Alliance (LLA) advisory board members have been playing a vital role in helping us understand the industry’s needs and shape content around it. Their feedback and insight continue to keep the alliance at the forefront of all things luxury. We would like to introduce you to each board member

Hadrian Beltrametti-Walker, vice president, legal services, Kempinski Hotels

Hadrian is the head of the legal department for Kempinski Hotels, Europe’s oldest luxury hotel brand. Managing a team of in-house and external legal experts, he oversees the delivery of business-oriented legal services, whilst protecting the group’s intellectual property, brand reputation, managing dispute resolution, and ensuring group legal compliance. 

Ava Farshidi, director – legal, Marc Jacobs

Based in New York, Ava works across different practices including general corporate matters, commercial contracts, real estate, and compliance. Before joining Marc Jacobs, she held in-house counsel roles at David Yurman and Rebecca Minkoff. Ava is also the founder of Avocate, a women’s mentoring network connecting law students and lawyers. She received the Luxury Law Rising Star Award in London in 2017.

Ashleigh Hegarty, general counsel, Charlotte Tilbury Beauty

Ashleigh was named Luxury General Counsel of the Year in last year’s Luxury Law Awards. With a background in supporting premium-listed companies, established retail groups and start-ups through to sale, she is an experienced general counsel and company secretary in the luxury retail and FMCG industry. 

Jeffrey Hellman, senior vice president and assistant general counsel, PVH Corp.

Based in New York, Jeff is senior vice president and assistant general counsel at PVH Corp. (parent company of Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger) and serves as an adjunct professor at Fordham University School of Law, where he teaches a course in fashion law and finance. He has worked in various capacities at PVH since 2007 and is a senior business lawyer with experience in mergers and acquisitions.

Joanne Loughrey, associate general counsel, L’Oreal UK and Ireland

Joanne is associate general counsel for the luxury division of L’Oréal UK and Ireland, comprising brands such as Lancôme, Yves Saint Laurent Beauty, Giorgio Armani Beauty, Kiehl’s, Valentino and Urban Decay. She works closely with the group legal function in Paris and is responsible for advising the business on a wide variety of commercial legal matters and Group best practices.

Tiffani McDonough, director and senior counsel, Louis Vuitton

Tiffani manages all domestic and international employment matters and general litigation in the Americas region. Before joining the company, she was a labour and employment lawyer in private practice with several well-known law firms. 

Georgina McManus, global general counsel, Manolo Blahnik

Georgina joined Manolo Blahnik in 2015 and established the internal legal function. Along with holding responsibility for the legal department, she serves as company secretary for the group and is a director of the brand’s manufacturing business. Previously she was a corporate counsel at Westfield Europe.

Glenda O’Hara, principal counsel, Burberry

Glenda has served as principal counsel at Burberry since 2012. Previously, she was a lawyer with Taylor Wessing.

Kate Wilkinson, group general counsel and corporate secretary, Mulberry

Kate oversees all legal matters for Mulberry. She is a highly experienced and successful corporate and commercial in-house general counsel with wide ranging knowledge and experience in private practice and industry. Her previous experience includes roles at a global packaging manufacturer and an international mining and manufacturing group, covering UK and foreign jurisdictions across multiple legal disciplines.
