Apple looks ready to settle a case brought over claims it targeted staff from a firm that makes batteries for electric cars. The company was accused of approaching engineers from A123 last year as part of its plans to build a large-scale battery unit. It denied the claim earlier this year.  The agreement in principle was disclosed in the papers filed by the battery-maker with the parties said to be working out the final details but the terms were not revealed.
