US pharmaceutical company Lilly – which claims to be the 10th largest pharma company in the world – has chosen long-time company man Michael Harrington to replace Robert Armitage as senior vice president and general counsel.
Mr Harrington has been at Lilly for more than 20 years and currently occupies the role of vice president and deputy general counsel, reports PM Live.
He will take up his new role on 1 January 2013, overseeing all legal functions and reporting directly to Lilly CEO John Lechleiter.
