The Green Investment Bank has secured the appointment of Pinsent Masons energy finance partner Euan McVicar as its new legal advisor.
Mr McVicar has spent a large proportion of his career working on the financial aspects of energy projects, reports Blue and Green Tomorrow.
The government-backed Bank was given the green light in October last year. It recently announced the results of its first five months of operation, saying it managed to mobilise £2.3 billion in low-carbon infrastructure and technology.
Eric Lieberman has joined American television network Fusion as its new vice president and general counsel.
Mr Lieberman was most recently general counsel for the Washington Post, where for 15 years he was responsible for legal affairs, government affairs, public relations and community relations.
Before joining The Post's in-house legal team in 1998, Mr Lieberman was a litigator for six years at Washington law firm Williams & Connolly, reports ABC.
Health and biomedical leader Clint Hermes has been recruited as general counsel by Sidra Medical and Research Centre.
The new facility in Qatar will focus primarily on women’s and children’s healthcare, according to Ame Info.
Mr Hermes was previously senior vice president at St Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
