Anne Byrne – the head of UK real estate at London-based law magic circle law firm Linklaters – has joined investment company Capital & Counties Properties (Capco) as its first legal chief. The Lawyer newspaper reports that Ms Byrne – who advised Capco while at the global firm – will take up the role in February.
Elsewhere, ex-Simmons & Simmons Moscow chief Konstantin Orlov has joined Renova Group as in a deputy general counsel role. Renova – BP’s Russian joint venture partner – acquired the high-profile lawyer to replace Dmitry Lavrentiev. Mr Orlov will report to chief legal officer Igor Cheremikin, reports The Lawyer.
Philadelphia-based professional services company Aramark has announced the appointment of Steve Reynolds as executive vice president, general counsel and secretary, effective from 4 September. Mr Reynolds will lead the company’s legal team and support Aramark in its corporate, international, and business unit legal matters. According to Equities.com, his responsibilities will span the company's food service, facilities management, and uniform and career apparel divisions.
