Daniel Lloyd has joined inContact SAAS as a new officer in the role of corporate general counsel from PROS Holdings, a software solutions provider where he was chief legal counsel. inContact is the cloud contact centre software leader, helping organizations around the globe create high quality customer experiences.
Synovus Financial has hired Columbus attorney Allan Kamensky as its general counsel, replacing Sam Hatcher, who retired in late 2013. Kamensky, a Columbus native and longtime partner in the law firm Page, Scrantom, Sprouse, Tucker and Ford, also assumes the titles of executive vice president and corporate secretary at Synovus.Columbus-based Synovus, a Southeast regional bank, said it has hired Kamensky for his expertise in “banking, lending and real estate law, commercial transactions, workouts, loan sales, banking litigation, regulatory matters and zoning.”
Channel 4 has promoted its head of legal and compliance to be general counsel. Prash Naik takes over the newly created position as the former head of legal, commercial and business affairs John Moran becomes Controller of Business Affairs.
Francesca Lee joins Newcrest Mining as General Counsel and Company Secretary. Ms Lee joins from OZ Minerals Limited and has more than 26 years of experience working with the mining industry. According to CEO and managing director Greg Robinson, Ms Lee will make a substantial contribution to the company’s legal and governance processes.
HSBC Asset Management has recruited Sandie Okoro as general counsel. Ms Okora, who was the first general counsel appointed to Barings Asset Management, is one of a number of appointments which the bank is making in its retail banking and wealth management division.
