Stephen Sultan is standing down in December after twenty years as general counsel and president of the Dramatists Play Service (DPS). The organisation was founded in 1936 by playwrights and theatre agents to publish acting editions of plays and to handle their leasing rights. In his time, the DPS acquired 1,000 new plays, among them 16 Pulitzer Prize-winners, according to Broadway World.
David Kirk, currently the chief criminal counsel at the Financial Conduct Authority in the UK, is leaving to return to private practice in January, according to Bloomberg Businessweek. He is joining McGuireWoods, the government, regulation and criminal investigations firm in London.
Michael Finn is being appointed senior vice president and general counsel at Axalta Coating Systems, the international powder and liquid coatings company. Since 2009 he has held the title of general counsel at the advanced information systems division of General Dynamics Corporation, accordng to Compliance Week.
Multinational consultancy firm Booz Allen Hamilton has appointed Nancy Laben as its new general counsel. She starts on 30 September and also becomes executive vice president. She is transferring over from AECOM Technologies, a Fortune 500 architectural, design and engineering consultancy, according to Who's Who Legal.
