Swedish company Trelleborg has appointed a new general counsel byggam.se

Swedish engineering company Trelleborg has appointed Charlotta Grahs as its new general counsel from 1 October. She succeeds Ulf Graden who is retiring. Ms Grahs will also act as company secretary. She joins from Dometic Group, which manufactured parts for caravans and motor homes. She has also worked in private practice for Mannheimer Swartling and Hengeler Meuller.

Pharmaceutical company Heron Therapeutics has appointed Esme C Smith as vice president, general counsel and secretary. Ms Smith will report directly to Heron CEO Barry Quart. She has previously worked for Dendreon Corporation and prior to that, as a partner with law firm Jones Day.

Bahrain-based regional savings and pensions provider Takaud has appointed Hadi Daou as its general counsel. Mr Daou hax had more than 15 years experience leading corporate strategic and tactical legal initiatives, with specific focus on banking and financial services in the GCC and Middle East and North Africa region. 

Heinz' European general counsel has exited the company in the aftermath of the company's takeover. Janice More has not been directly replaced. 

Fertiliser producer Mosaic has promoted associate general counsel Mark Isaacson following former general counsel Richard Mack's elevation to chief financial officer.
