Robert Rivkin has been appointed as the senior vice president and deputy general counsel, international and regulatory affairs, at Atlanta-based Delta Airlines.
Mr Rivkin previously served as general counsel at the US Department of Transportation, reports Compliance Week. Prior to that, he was vice president and deputy general counsel at risk management and brokerage firm Aon Corporation, where he established the legal functions in Canada and Latin America.
Elsewhere, Claudia Cantarella has joined New York trading solutions company Broadway Technology as general counsel.
Market Wire reports that Ms Cantarella will oversee all legal matters, including transactional, intellectual property, commercial, corporate, compliance and employment matters.
Meanwhile, 7 News reports that Joshua Jarrell has joined the West Virginia Department of Commerce as deputy secretary and general counsel.
Mr Jarrell previously worked at Charleston law firm Bowles Rice McDavid Graff and Love. He also served as finance director for Texas Congressman Henry Cuellar and as a legislative correspondent for US Senator Jay Rockefeller.
