Michelle Sindler, the inaugural chief executive officer of the Australian International Disputes Centre (AIDC) has stood down after 20 years in the post. The onetime Minter Ellison partner is being replaced by Deborah Lockhart who has 20 years experience in the field and who used to work at ING Australia and AMP.
Ms Sindler is also stepping down from her role as secretary general of the Australian Centre for International Commercial Arbitration. She is to be replaced by her deputy, Deborah Tomkinson who was a senior associate in the Ashurst dispute resolution team in Sydney before joining the Centre in September. Source: Lawyers Weekly
Marlon Goldstein has been named as the next general counsel for Amaya Gaming Group, taking on the role on January 24. He is currently working there as a consultant.
