CC set to lose four private equity associates in London

Four private equity associates are thought to be planning to leave Clifford Chance in London to join Latham & Watkins and other firms.

The move is being seen as representative of the fragile hold that Magic Circle firms have on lawyers in the UK capital. Former partners at Clifford Chance have already made the move to other firms, making it easier for associates to leave as well by following them. In this manner, one associate is thought to be following ex-CC partner David Walker to Latham & Watkins while another is expected at Simpson Thacher where ex-CC partners Jason Glover and Adam Signy are now based.
