Latham & Watkins attracts another CC private equity star

Clifford Chance private equity partner Tom Evans is following the firm's former global head of private equity, David Walker, to join Latham & Watkins.

Newly made up as a partner, Mr Evans has been seen as someone with a rich future. David Walker joined Latham & Watkins in May. The recruitment of the duo to the 250-lawyer London office comes at a time when various other prestigious lateral hires have also been made - including the arrival of Dean Naumowicz, who used to head the derivatives team at Norton Rose Fulbright, according to Legal Business.
