Client service stars invest heavily

Thompson Hine and Faegre Baker Daniels are in the top ten law firms ranked for delivering the absolute best client service in the BTI Client Service A-Team 2014.The research finds that the most successful strategies included a large-scale investment in client service with top partners dedicated to driving roll-out and implementation of client service programmes. These firms focused on the largest clients first and rolled out programmes to smaller clients whilst also prioritising client feedback

BigLaw service

On the BigLaw front,  Skadden Arps  surged  to the number one position,  having redefined its approach to clients four years ago, according to the BTI Blog, The Mad Clientist. Jones Day comes in next for premium client service whilst Sidley, Austin, Morgan Lewis and Kirkland & Ellis follow.

New approaches

According to BTI, the research reveals that both client service stalwarts and newcomers alike are using new approaches to land a spot in the client elite.
