An Australian lawyer has claimed that law firm remuneration models can lead to clients losing out as partners are pitted against each other. Former Langes+ founding partner Shannon Adams, who is leaving the firm to join Hunt & Hunt next week, told Lawyers Weekly that firms needed to radically change their operations to avoid practice groups competing for work to serve their own interests to the disadvantage of the client.
