Clyde & Co is understood to be in the process of making lateral hires of three senior aviation specialists to beef up its airlines and insurance presence.

The first to be announced is David Johnston, the aviation liability and insurance expert who is joining from Kennedys in the UK. He was on standby to advise Allianz Insurance over possible claims coming from the loss of Malaysian Airlines MH380 in March.
