The McKenna Long team is to be headed by Mark Dombroff who used to be an in-house lawyer at the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The Global Legal Post recently reported on the LeClairRyan move and on discussion in Australia to promulgate laws for the drone sector. Meanwhile, in the US, the FAA is expected to issue rules covering small civil unmanned aircraft this year. Mr Dombroff said: ‘We want to help [companies] shape rulemaking and get a seat at the table, then actually operate in a world they had a hand in creating.’ Source: sUAS News
