The new arrivals include former head of insurance at Norton Rose Fulbright Tony Hardie and his colleague Amelia Costa, an insurance specialist who used to be a director at Norton Rose. Both join Clyde as partners. Four lawyers are coming across from South African practice Edward Nathan Sonnenbergs, including two partners.

The insurance and litigation teams are to be boosted by the new additions. International arbitration group partner Maurice Kenton said: 'With this latest expansion we are now not only firmly established as a top-tier insurance practice in the region, but have also positioned ourselves in a position of strength in the commercial and construction disputes space.'
